Nightcoreという音楽のジャンルから掘り出したNOMYというアーティスト

この7カ月で、苦しみながらも、

じゃ、音楽はどうしていたのか、というと、聴きまくっていたわけで、

わが家のCDラック以上に、Apple Musicのストックが増えてきております。

これは洋楽だけでなく、邦楽も同様で、

洋邦関係なく、ご紹介できるかと。皆さんと、もっと音楽が共有出来たら、

楽しいですね。



で、唐突ですが、「Nightcore」（ナイトコア）という音楽ジャンルをご存知でしょうか？

ウィキペディアによれば、Nightcore とは、

「波形編集ソフトウェアを用いて、原曲のテンポを高速化させ、場合によっては意図的にピッチも上げて作られた、リミックスを指す音楽ジャンルである。トランス、テクノ、ユーロダンスなどの音楽ジャンルと、ナイトコアの雰囲気は類似している。」

とあります。

探せば、やたら日本のアニソンへのヒットが目立ちます。



僕は、たまたま筋トレ用の、リズムのよいEDMミュージックを探していて、偶然ヒットしたこちらの楽曲にハマったわけで。


Cocaine - Nightcore Mix




この時は、この「Cocaine」がいちばんエクササイズに適していたわけで。素直にカッコいいと。

ですが、原曲があるわけですよ。

で、気になるじゃないですか、原曲が。で、聴いてみると、これがまた渋くていいんですわ。

アーティストはNOMY.。Apple MusicではPomme'ttoと出てしまい、アーティストにたどり着けません。

で、この「NOMY」、日本ではさほど有名ではない。

スウェーデンのアーティストで、主にインターネット上での活動を主にしているようで、ロックを中心としたデジタル楽曲を作成しているとか。

まぁ、「Cocaine」の原曲を聴いてくださいな。





これに味をしめた僕は、NOMYの楽曲をいくつか漁ってみると・・・

なんだろな、とにかく渋く、そして時に激しく、で、時に切ない。

どちらかというと、人生への厳しい風刺を歌い上げている、叫んでいる、そんな気がするんで。

何曲か、聴いてみてください。どう感じるか。

バラードと、それ以外を交互に紹介しましたが、

最後の「Messiah」なんかは、ほんとに魂の叫びというか、

PVを見てくれたら分かるけど、思いの丈を歌にぶち込んでいる。

歌詞なんかも、孤独で救いがない。


「くそったれ！もう何年も待てるか！

このクソ寒い雨の中を、いつ来るか分からない列車（希望）を待つのに・・・

神を信じて、魂は壊れ、夢は破れた。くそ、もう目を覚ませよ、

メシアなんか、神なんか、天国さえ、どうせありはしないんだ、この世の中は・・・」



でも、それは今ある富と貧困の差を如実に歌い上げている、そんな気がする。

心に響く、そんな歌、メロディ。

そんなアーティストを今まで知らなかった、自分が信じられない。

バラード調といえども、スクリームが入ったハードな曲調に変化しますから。でも、この叫びに、言葉が分からなくても、心打たれるんですよね。言葉が分かれば、余計に感情移入します。
